With IT-Compact, we follow the principle of optimized rack architecture with a reduced axis dimension of 660 mm instead of the usual 800 mm. That is 17.5% less space requirement with the same performance and functionality.
Miniaturization in IT technology is also having an increasing impact on the design of subracks. More power, more connections and a higher packing density have to be accommodated in less and less space. Here, we implement the 19″ standard with an open rack architecture of carrier profiles and grid tracks.
This structure forms a kind of “inner skeleton” that holds the individual IT components together. In this way, we not only gain space in width, but also up to 6 height units compared to a standard rack.

Rack architectures from CONECT combine the benefits of standardized components with an intelligent improvement of installation details. Thus, we dispense with disturbing vertical spars, use grid tracks also vertically for cable routing and the attachment of PDU strips. Installations above the racks or on the floor are also possible. Everything remains accessible and can be changed at any time.

Our racks are designed to ensure a permanent power supply. This is done via the line level above the racks by 3-phase multiport system plugs up to 25 A rated current. Mains paths A and B are marked in black and white respectively, with a note indicating that if one path fails, the rated current in the remaining path doubles and could trip the circuit fuse. This is another detail that supports the user in everyday IT operations.
